I just love it when researchers dish out truly vital information. That’s what the folks at Experian did following a survey of America’s Thanksgiving habits. For a moment, forget the polls you’ve seen on global issues, the health care bill and economic woes. Here’s a bit of data that will make you happy:
When asked which of the traditional Thanksgiving dishes respondents would include as most important to them in the Thanksgiving meal:
- 87% said turkey
- 67% said stuffing
- 67% said pie
- 58% said mashed potatoes
- 55% said cranberry sauce
Pie, over mashed potatoes by a mile! These are statistics we dessert-lovers can get behind.
Of course, you’ll note they dodged the detail of what KIND of pie.
